Description

Precision Point Nonabsorbable Nylon Surgical Monofilament Suture, Size 4/0, 18", with PS-4 needle, is a sterile, pliabilized nylon suture composed of long-chain aliphatic polyamides. It is designed to offer high tensile strength, excellent knot security, and minimal tissue reactivity. The monofilament structure ensures smooth passage through tissue with low drag and reduced trauma.

This suture is dyed black to enhance intraoperative visibility, allowing for precise placement in both superficial and subdermal layers. The 4/0 size provides adequate tensile strength for closure of delicate tissues, including skin, mucosa, and microsurgical applications. The nonabsorbable nature of the suture ensures long-term retention when needed, or it may be removed post-operatively.

The PS-4 needle is a precision reverse cutting needle, 3/8 circle in shape, designed for clean and accurate penetration through dense or keratinized tissues.
